Judge Earl O’Connor

Judge Earl O’Connor was a Kansas Supreme Court Justice from 1965-1971 and then a United States District Court Judge for the District of Kansas from 1971-1998. He was instrumental in the construction of the Robert J. Dole Federal Courthouse in Kansas City. We were hired to create a portrait bust of Judge O’Connor to be placed in the rotunda of the Courthouse in 2018 to honor his effort to make the courthouse a reality. The bust was unveiled in November, 2019 to his family, former colleagues and law clerks.
