Sacred Heart of Jesus

Benedictine College envisioned the Sacred Heart of Jesus monument as a strong message of unconditional love and support. College can be a tumultuous time, filled with changes and difficult decisions, and the statue is to be a calming force in the turbulent times of youth. His arms are spread wide in the beginning moments of a warm and loving embrace. He leans slightly forward as he steps toward the viewer, earnestly wanting to share his love. His hands are the coarse, calloused hands of a carpenter, and his head is tipped down as a father would hug a child. It has been our incredible honor to participate in bringing this statue to life.
